08 Oct Anna Holland-Edwards Discusses COVID Lawsuit
As cooperating counsel with the ACLU, Holland, Holland, Edwards, and Grossman discusses the ACLU class action lawsuit against the Polis Administration in Colorado with Westword. The case was filed against state officials for failing to protect medically compromised inmates during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The lawsuit asks that Colorado prison officials compile a list of medically vulnerable inmates, and responsibly release those detainees through parole or other means. Civil rights attorney Anna Holland-Edwards gave a statement to Westord about what the Colorado Department of Corrections can do to save the lives of inmates.
