Holland, Holland Edwards and Grossman’s cases are included in recent CNN Report on medical care in the nations jails and prisons.
Providing quality medical care to inmates is not optional. Inmates retain their basic human rights, including access to health care. Private for profit health care companies have taken over the public function of providing health care in jails. The much too stark truth about jail medical care across our country is well told in this important national CNN investigation describing cases around the country.
HHEG has the privilege of representing the families in two Colorado cases described in this report, including the death of Jeffrey Lillis who has an ongoing case against Arapahoe County and Denny Lovern.
